SafeCon was founded by internationally acclaimed trainer & consultant Mr. Salahuddin Johar whose name needs NO introduction. Mr. Johar is currently the chief training officer at SafeCon bureau of inspection & certification USA Inc, his dynamic leadership, innovation & vision has turned SafeCon into a training & consulting power house. As an educator, entrepreneur, author, speaker, thought leader, trainer & consultant he has redefined the safety training industry with his vision, passion & untiring efforts. to date, he has delivered more than 50,000 training hours in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, Singapore & USA.
Mr. Johar is OSHA department of labor USA authorized outreach trainer for general industry, he achieved this title in the USA in 2017.
He is also the authorized instructor for defensive driving, H2S authorized instructor from TEEX USA, scaffold training institute authorized instructor & have completed certified fire inspector & certified fire protection specialist (CFPS). NFPA 70 E, NFPA 1081 with NFPA in the United States. cumulative, he holds 24 years of experience with HSE sector & has worked with leading players like Engro, Siemens, AdGas & Alfannar . he has been trainer & consultant with many large companies such Engro, MPCL, PPL, KE, Siemens, Exterran, CMEC, FFC to name few.
This visionary man brought CSP (certified safety professional) to Middle East. in 2012, he researched on CSP certification & started promoting CSP in GCC & Pakistan. in 2017, he visited BCSP headquarters in USA & his company SafeCon awarded the very first approved study center for ASP/CSP. he also brought NFPA certifications to Pakistan & in 2016, launched CFPS & CFI in Pakistan.
Mr. Salahuddin Johar’s Journey for Excellence Continues & in 2016, Along with some visionary safety professionals, he founded WorkSafe Pakistan to promote safety culture at corporate & mass levels. WorkSafe is actively working on projects of national safety certifications with international recognition. to promote fire education among masses, he has also founded NFPS & Road Safety Council for promotion of road safety sense & education in Pakistan.
He is also the program head of post graduate diploma in occupational safety & health (PGDOSH) at Pakistan’s premier engineering University NED University of engineering & technology.
In Feb 2021 , Mr. Salahuddin Johar Achieved Another Distinction in United States By Becoming Certified In TapRoot Accident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis System in USA. Mr. Salahuddin Johar passionate to see flourishing safety culture in Pakistan , for that purpose he has founded WorkSafe Pakistan , he is also the secretary of WorkSafe Pakistan – a registered not for profit national body working to uplift safety infrastructure in the country.
To promote fire education at mass level, he has founded National Fire Protection Society ( NFPS) which is the registered not for profit national body for the promotion of fire protection education at all levels.
